Grey stone across a contemporary residence
A private residence in Boca Raton clad in Fior di Bosco, a grey stone with soft veining, in a honed finish. The stone runs across the exterior facades and continues inside the house.
The scope covered the exterior cladding and the interior stonework, including the entrance columns and portals.

Columns and portals
Inside, Fior di Bosco continues across full-height columns and portals in the main living area. The same grey stone used on the facades wraps the structural elements, keeping the material consistent between outside and inside.
Material Selection
The Fior di Bosco blocks were selected at the quarry to control colour and veining. The blocks were then cut into dimensioned panels and slabs for the project.
Pre-Laying Inspection
Before installation the cut panels were dry-laid and inspected to check fit, alignment and colour across the surface. Any issue was resolved at this stage.
Installation
The panels were fixed with a mechanical anchoring system on the building structure. The anchors were set on the wall and the stone was mounted onto them.
