Marble and mosaic across a flagship boutique
A multi-level Louis Vuitton boutique in Milan finished in marble and mosaic. Botticino, Giallo Reale and Rosso Verona are set into the floors in checkerboard and triangle patterns across the retail levels.
The stonework runs through the monumental staircase, the glazed courtyard with its mosaic floor, the powder rooms and the restaurant.

Marble floors
The floors combine Botticino and Rosso Verona in checkerboard and triangle patterns, with Giallo Reale as an accent. The patterns change across the retail levels.
Monumental staircase
A monumental staircase was built in marble, with curved treads and matching landings. Mosaic is set into the landings between flights.
Courtyard and restaurant
The glazed courtyard carries a mosaic floor under the columns and greenery. The restaurant sits within this space, framed by the arched loggia.
Powder rooms
The powder rooms are lined in marble, with a mosaic or terrazzo band set into the floor at the vanity.
Material Selection
Slabs of Botticino, Giallo Reale and Rosso Verona were selected in the workshop, with samples compared to set the colour and match across the floors.
Fabrication
The staircase treads and profiled pieces were shaped in the workshop. The curved steps were built and finished before delivery.
Pre-Laying Inspection
The floors were dry-laid before installation to check the patterns, the inserts and the fit. The checkerboard and triangle layouts were verified across each space.
Installation
The marble was laid across the floors and the staircase was assembled on site. The courtyard mosaic was set by hand.
